Mt. Saint Helens

We got to go see Mt. St. Helens on Saturday!! It was amazing! We went to the West viewpoint (the Johnston Ridge Observatory). We hiked around for a while and got to see different views of the volcano and the changed valley and surrounding mountainsides.

I'm jealous you actually got to see the peak. The weekend we went it was too misty so we could only see the bottom part of it, although there are a lot of other cool things to see around there!

I am glad you went to see it I loved it 8 years ago. I could not imagine being there when it happen! Some of those stories are amazing.
